It has been a very full-on week full of creativity, activeness, the outdoors, nature and more! If you have been following Buckswood Overseas Summer School (BOSS) on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube or LinkedIn you may have noticed that we are currently hosting students in our own little household bubble!
We are very lucky and happy to have inherited a bubble of students who have been living together since at least January 4th from the mothership that is Buckswood School. Neil, BOSS Director and Sarah, who has just about done every job there is to do at BOSS over the last 8 years, were taking COVID tests every three days for 2 weeks in the build up to course and were able to be integrated into this bubble and since we will have the same students and staff for the whole duration of the course, the course is about as normal as it can be during these current times. Staff and all students are being tested twice a week on Sundays and Wednesdays and we are following COVID protocols relevant to our situation.
Having all settled into our new home and become familiar with each other and the timetable, our household is stronger, more confident and more lively than a week ago. The activities have allowed our students to learn and to be active as well as enjoying some well-deserved down-time following a busy Easter term at Buckswood School.
BOSS TV episode 21 is made up of Instagram live videos that we have been making over the last week as due to teaching and activity leading for the next three weeks, time isn’t what it used to be so please excuse the rushed nature of this episode!
Finally, if it seems like Neil is talking to himself, he either is or is talking to viewers on Instagram who are commenting and saying “hi”!
