BOSS Online: The BOSS Book Club - Friday 27th March 2020

The time flew during today's BOSS Book Club as we discussed the book Hugh Did Watt? It seemed like we were just getting started when the hour was almost over.

The book made some people feel sad while some felt angry and others frustrated. The common feeling however was one of happiness as the book closed with a powerful moral.

Neil also revealed a secret. But you'll have to watch the video below to find out.

If you were unable to make it to the BOSS Book Club today and join in with the discussion you can watch it below:

To close the session we looked forward to next week and with feedback from those involved, we have put together the below activity programme for the second week of BOSS Online. Please remember that all online activities are completely free and that you should register here. We will be offering these online activities for at least the next 4 weeks with this week's activities below:

We can also offer online English lessons should you be interested but for these, the following costs will apply:

Online group English lessons: £10 per hour

Online one-to-one English lessons: £25 per hour

More information regarding online English lessons will follow in the next day or two.

To finish with the last few lines of the book Hugh Did Watt?:

So if you see someone who’s looking blue

Go and ask them ‘how do you do?’

Be their friend and show that you care

It’ll mean a lot to know you’re there

For now, stay safe, have a great weekend and we hope that we will see you all on Monday for the "Monday Meeting" at 13:00 (GMT)!
