The highlight? Blanca, crowned The Riddle Queen, impressed us all, though every student brought brilliant energy and enthusiasm.
That interactive spirit continues today at Buckswood Overseas Summer School (BOSS), where every lesson and activity helps students think creatively, work as a team, and use English in fun, practical ways.

A Few of Our Favourite Riddles
What has to be broken before you can use it? An egg
What month of the year has 28 days? All of them
What can you hold in your left hand but not in your right? Your right elbow
What begins with an “e” and only contains one letter? An envelope
Our quizzes still make regular appearances at BOSS—though now, they’re just one part of our full activity and leadership programme. Students take part in challenges, sports, creative workshops, and excursions designed to build confidence, communication, and lifelong memories.
