HOW WE GROUP STUDENTS
Houses by age. Classes by level.
​Students live in one of six houses, grouped by age and gender, with residential staff in every house.
​
English classes are set by level, then balanced by age and nationality, so every class mixes languages and everyone speaks English.

Which group is right for my child?
My child is 11 and turns 12 in July. Which group?
We place students by their age on arrival. If they are close to a boundary, tell us on the booking form and we will place them where they will be happiest.
Can siblings in different groups stay together?
Siblings share the same campus, meals and evening programme. They usually live in different houses, grouped by age, and can meet every day.

Is BOSS suitable for an 8 year old?
Yes. BOSS Starters have the closest staff support, simple daily routines and a gentle introduction to life away from home.

What does a 16 year old get that a younger student doesn't?
BOSS Future students lead weekly projects, build a fuller Portfolio and can ask us for references and personal statements later.
