Go Home Proud: Meet the BOSS Portfolio and Passport
At BOSS, students learn a lot, try a lot and grow a lot. From 2027, they take all of it home with them.
This week, we are looking at two new ideas: the BOSS Portfolio and the BOSS Passport.
What is the BOSS Portfolio?
Every BOSS student now goes home with a Portfolio. It keeps all their achievements together, in one place.
Inside, they will find:
a BOSS Certificate for their course
a Trinity GESE Certificate from their spoken English exam, taken at BOSS
the Young Leader Award from the Leadership Skills Foundation
an academic report from their teacher, with progress and next steps
a graduation photo with their class
their BOSS Passport
For parents, it shows exactly what their child learned and achieved. For students, it is something to be proud of.
It doesn't stop when they go home
Years later, BOSS can still help. On request, we write references and support personal statements for former students.
What is the BOSS Passport?
Every student now gets their own BOSS Passport. When they try something new or achieve something, our staff give them a stamp.
There are six areas to fill:
Social
Creativity
Activity
Exploration
Learning
Personal Growth
Maybe it is their first time on a horse. Maybe they spoke in front of the whole school. Every stamp is a proud moment.
The Passport gives every student a clear, fun way to see how much they grow at BOSS. At the end of the course, it goes home in their Portfolio.

The BOSS Spring Experience: 28th March to 17th April 2027. Book by Sunday 28th February 2027.
The Great British Summer Experience: 27th June to 14th August 2027. Book by Thursday 27th May 2027.
Bookings officially open on Monday 2nd November 2026, and our booking form is ready now. Places usually sell out by April.

Buckswood Overseas Summer School (BOSS) is based on the beautiful Buckswood campus in Guestling, near Hastings, East Sussex, England.
