Train at the Home of the English Champions

When sixty-four schools entered the ESFA U15 PlayStation F.C. Small Schools’ Cup there could only be one winner and that winner was our very own Buckswood under 15s football team who were yesterday (Tuesday 13th October) crowned the champions of England as they defeated St. Mary’s College Crosby 3-1 in a convincing performance at Lilleshaw National Sports National Sports Centre.

The English Schools’ Football Association (ESFA) was founded in 1904 and is the governing body of schools' football in England. It is responsible for the running and development of schools competitions and festivals at primary and secondary school age and it is the second time in the space of 5 years that Buckswood have been crowned the national champions.

The Buckswood Football Academy has a reputation for providing high quality coaching and support for ambitious young players who want to combine their football and education.

Buckswood competes at the highest level of English school football, competing both at county, national and international level entering competitions including Independent Schools’ Football Association (ISFA), ESFA and County Cups.

The coaches at the Buckswood Football Academy hold the highest of qualifications including the UEFA A Licence, the Advanced Youth Award, the UEFA B Licence, the FA Level 2 Goalkeeping Award and the FA Level 2 Coaching Award and their experience includes coaching at Arsenal, West Ham United, Chelsea and Brighton and Hove Albion as well as scouting for FIFA.
